Street maintenance project moves to phase 3

Aug 5, 2025

The preventative street maintenance project currently affecting several Bartlesville streets moves to phase 3 this week as contract crews prepare to apply HA5, which acts as a sealant and helps extend the life of the roadway.

The project, which began in May and has faced several delays due to rain and contractor issues, must be done over four phases, each requiring road and/or lane closures. To view a schedule of closings, see below.

Trash routes will also be affected in specific areas due to the work this week. Collection on the west side of Madison Boulevard between Douglass and Nowata Road will be on Wednesday, Aug. 6. East side residences will be serviced on Tuesday, which is the normal collection day. Both sides of Madison between Frank Phillips Boulevard and the Sooner Park entrance will be on Thursday, the normal collection day, though earlier in the morning than usual.
