Asphalt project delayed due to storm damage

Jun 19, 2018

Asphalt street projects planned for this month have been delayed indefinitely after an early morning storm on June 12 resulted in tree damage in several Bartlesville neighborhoods, Street Department Supervisor Lance Brown said today.

“Street Department crews have been unable to complete the planned asphalt resurfacing on several Bartlesville streets because they are busy responding to the storm damage,” Brown said.

City crews began curbside pick-up to collect storm-related debris this week.

The asphalt projects planned for Bridle Road, Lariat Drive, Melmart Drive, Jennings Avenue and Herrick Street will be completed at a later date.
