The Bartlesville Police Department held its annual Peace Officer Memorial ceremony on Wednesday at the Bartlesville Public Safety Complex, 615 S. Johnstone Ave.
The ceremony was to honor fallen U.S. law enforcement officers.
U.S. Attorney Trent Shores was the featured speaker for the event, and BPD Capt. Rocky Bevard, Dewey Police Chief Mike Shea and Washington County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jon Copeland read the names of Oklahoma’s fallen officers, dating back to Indian Territory.
