Lane closures set for ODOT guardrail project

Jun 25, 2018

Lane closures began this week to accommodate the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s guardrail replacement project on State Highway 60, also known as Adams Road.

Contract crews for ODOT have removed the guardrail along the highway and are scheduled to begin the replacement portion of the project this week.

The outside lanes for both west- and east-bound traffic will be closed just west of Silver Lake Road to facilitate the project, said Director of Engineering Micah Siemers.

“They will start working in that location and will work their way east,” he said.

Siemers said it is not known how long the lanes will be closed, but the duration of the entire project is 60 days.
