Recycling options under exploration
Any word on the recycle center?
The City of Bartlesville’s drop-off recycle center remains closed due to the fire at Tulsa Recycling and Transfer Center last month. The City transfers recyclable materials dropped off at the local center to TRT for processing. Therefore, the City’s center, located at 10th Street and Virginia Avenue, will remain closed until TRT reopens. As of today, TRT has not notified the City of a potential opening date.
City staff members are exploring other options to better assist local recyclers during the TRT shut-down. Any changes in the City’s recycle operations will be announced in City Beat and/or on the City of Bartlesville GOV Facebook page and the City’s website, www.cityofbartlesville.org. Information will also be provided to local media resources.

Is the VA still opening an office in Bartlesville?
According to the Community Development Department, the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System has submitted plans for the Bartlesville location, which are currently in review. The center will be located at 3005 E. Frank Phillips Blvd. The City is not yet aware of a targeted date of completion.
Luigi’s: When?
Do you know when the new Luigi’s will be finished?
Community Development Department records indicate construction on the new Luigi’s restaurant location, 1409 S.W. Washington Blvd., is targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2022. The restaurant is currently located at 3822 S.E. Frank Phillips Blvd.

Is it true that Schlotzsky’s is opening in Bartlesville?
The Community Development Department has received preliminary plans from the company to construct a restaurant at 3813 E. Frank Phillips Blvd. (between the bank and the coffee place).
