The City of Bartlesville’s drop-off recycle center remains closed due to the fire at Tulsa Recycling and Transfer Center earlier this year.
The City transfers recyclable materials dropped off at the center, located at 10th Street and Virginia Avenue, to TRT for processing. Because TRT is not accepting materials at this time due to the fire damage, the City’s center will remain closed until TRT reopens or other local recycling options are determined.
“We have not been notified of a potential opening date yet, but we will certainly let everyone know as soon as we hear something,” said Public Works Director Keith Henry.
