Work continues on Rolling Meadows storm water drainage project

Aug 24, 2016

Brad Bernabe & Mark McMillanCity Street Department crews are making good progress on the storm water drainage project on Rolling Meadows, just east of Swan Drive (behind Walmart).

According to Street Department Supervisor Lance Brown, storm water drainage inlets have been installed in the area to help keep storm water out of the intersection, and crews are now working to install the curb.

“The first phase of the project is complete. We should be done — or close to done — by the end of September,” Brown said.

Materials associated with the project, which also includes pavement reconstruction, is expected to cost approximately $20,000, which will come from the Capital Improvement Projects Fund.
