A series of videos highlighting the Bartlesville NEXT Strategic Plan was unveiled this week, offering the public an up-close view of the process and the plan’s intent, City Manager Mike Bailey said this week.
“These videos are one of the last steps in our efforts to inform and educate the public about the City’s organizational strategic plan, called Bartlesville NEXT,” said Bailey. “This plan serves as a roadmap for City leadership and staff, and it ensures accountability for us as an organization to accomplish the initiatives that have been identified as the most important for us in maintaining or improving our service to the public.”
The videos, developed and produced by local company Pioneer Dream, were recommended by The Mejorando Group, the consultant who guided the City through the development of the NEXT strategic plan.
The project, which began in 2021, took more than a year to fully develop. It was adopted by the City Council in 2022 and has since provided direction for City departments.
“All of the objectives identified in Bartlesville NEXT are in some stage of completion, and many of these initiatives are 100 percent complete,” Bailey said. “The City Council is updated on progress on the plan each month, and that information is available to the public on the City’s website.”
