The Richard Johnson Bandshell and Amphitheatre, more commonly known as the Sooner Park Bandshell, is a concrete, half-dome bandshell measuring 50′ in diameter. The venue, often used for concerts and other events, faces southeast with seating in front and on the hillside.
Cost for bandshell use is $12.50 for the first two hours and $7.50 for every hour after. A two-hour minimum rental is required. Payment must be received before the reservation can be made, and no phone reservations may be made without prior payment. Payments may be made on the first floor of City Hall during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
